ruc nvlronme ilrn owing The Shelton City Commission, on the recommendation of City Engineer Howard Godat, voted to purchase a new truck from International tlarvester, for the street department. Godat told the commission Two Arre Charges of possession of a narcotic drug were filed in Mason County Superior Court this week against Pameula Sueanne Manning, 23, 122 E. ttarvard, Shelton. Mrs. Manning was arrested at her home about 6:50 p.m. Friday after Shelton Police officers, acting on a tip from an informant, got a search warrant for her home. In information filed with the charge, Mrs. Manning is accused of having cocaine in her possession. The drug was found For Drugs by officers in the search of the home. Also arrested at the Manning home was Marvin Roush, 19, 511 (;rant, Shelton, on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was charged in Mason County District Justice Court. Mrs. Manning was taken to detention in Thurston County after her arrest, and, was released on personal recognizance by Judge Hewitt ttenry after the formal charges had been filed against her. obber $200 From Golden Pheasant Tavern The Mason County Sheriff's Office is continuing its investigation of an armed robbery of the Golden Pheasant Tavern Tuesday morning. Ed Thomas, owner of the tavern, told officers a lone man entered the tavern about 1 : 10 a.rn. after all of the customers had left and robbed him of about $200 in cash. Thomas told officers the individual wore a ski mask with a stocking cap over it. After getting the money, he fled on foot, Thomas said. Thomas told officers lae did not see any car in which the robber might have driven away in. The Sheriff's Office said Wednesday investigation was continuing, but, nothing positive had been turned up.
