Drug Crimes At 11:31 p.m. on March 4, possession of a nar- cotic was reported in the 300 block of South Fifth Street. At 2:29 p.m. on March 7, drug activity was re- ported on South First Street. At 8:28 p.m. on March 7, drug activity was re- ported in the 100 block of North Valley Drive. At 12:25 a.m. on March 9, a caller reported find- ing a large amount of methamphetamine on West state Route 108 in Shelton. At 12:35 p.m. on March 10, a vehicle was re- ported stolen in the 100 block of East Wallace Kneeland Boulevard. At 2:05 p.m. on March 10, a theft was reported At 3:37 p.m. on March 5, a possible marijuana grow was reported on North Valley Drive. At 8:27 p.m. on March 6, drugs including At 11:51 a.m. on March 10, drug activity was re- ported in the 600 block of West Cedar Street. At 1:17 p.m. on March 10, possible drug activ- ity was reported in the 700 block of North 12th Street. Fires At 7:21 a.m. on March 4, a vehicle fire was reported on East Rasor Road and East Alder- wood Road. Arrests March 4 Brian Russell Deyette, 25, of the 700 block of Dearborn Avenue in Shelton, was booked at 1:47 p.m. on sus- picion of violation of the uniform controlled substances act and un- lawful possession of a firearm. Calea Gae York, 28, of the 300 block of South Fifth Street in Shelton, was booked at 9:51 p.m. on suspicion of possession of a con- trolled substance. March 5 Kimberly Rose Smith, 31, of the 600 block of Park Street in Shelton, was booked at 12:35 a.m. on suspicion of possession of a con- trolled substance. Lyndsey Rene Roberts, 26, of Northeast Cap- tain Kidd Court in Bel- fair, was booked at 8:01 p.m. on suspicion of burglary in the second degree and obstructing law enforcement. Mateo Castaneda An- tonio, 38, of Northeast Skipper Court in Belfair, was booked at 9:06 p.m. on suspicion of two counts of assault of a child in the second degree. March 6 Paige Leann Peterson, 24, of the 200 block of East Snowcap Drive in Belfair, was booked at 11:25 p.m. on suspicion of driving with a sus- pended license (DWLS) in the third degree. Curtis Terry Knowles, 24, of Shelton, was booked at 2:33 p.m. on suspicion of violation of a no contact order and malicious mischief in the third degree. Quentin Alan Howe, 27, of the 4500 block of Scott Road Northwest in Olympia, was booked at 3:06 p.m. on sus- picion of DWLS in the third degree and pos- session of a controlled substance. Justin Andrew Wilke, 32, of the 800 block of South Eight Street in Shelton, was booked at 4:39 p.m. on suspicion of possession of a sto- len vehicle. Travis Warren Thomp- son, 45, of the 4500 block of East Pickering Road in Shelton, was booked at 6:30 p.m. on suspicion of assault in the fourth degree. Ronald Lorance Schae- fer, 39, of the 22000 block of North U.S. Highway 101 in Shelton, was booked at 10:53 p.m. on suspicion of DWLS in the second degree. March 8 Nancy Anne McBride, 32, of the 1100 block of East Treasure Island Drive in Allyn, was booked at 12:43 a.m. on suspicion of domestic violence assault in the fourth degree. March 10 Eric Collier Russel, 61, of the 34000 block of North U.S. Highway 101 in Lilliwaup, was booked at 12:28 p.m. on two counts of traf- ficking in fish and wild- life in the first degree. Heidi Cecilia Hartough, 52, of the 300 block of East Dalby Road in Union, was booked at 9:10 p.m. on suspicion of two counts of crimi- nal trespass in the first degree. Richard Rey Gilbride, 42, of the 200 block of Challenger Drive in Shelton was booked on suspicion of trafficking in stolen property. Court of Appeals judge announces retirement STAFF REPORT news@masoncoun com Washington state Court of Appeals Judge J. Robin Hunt announced she will retire from the bench at the end of the year when her current term ex- pires. Her retirement will leave the po- sition open for election this year. Hunt serves on Division II of the Court of Appeals (COA) based in Ta- coma. Division II hears appeals of court cases from Mason, Pierce, Clal- lain, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Thurston, Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Pa- cific, Skamania and Wahkiakum coun- ties. Hunt's replacement will be elected from District 2 by voters from Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Ma- son and Thurston counties. COA judg- es serve six-year terms. Hunt, from Bainbridge Island in Kit- sap County, has served on the COA for 18 years and has occasionally served as a pro tern justice for the state Su- preme Court. She is retiring to spend more time with family and pursue oth- er interests such as music, physical fit- ness and involvement in a new mental health court in Kitsap County.
