He was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Sunnyside to Dan Montana and Ber- nice I. Gephart (Black). He served in the Navy Seabees, and married Mary E. Brew- er on Aug. 15, 1972, in Reno. William worked as a forklift operator at Simpson. After retiring, he worked in main- tenance part time for Taylor United. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He took flying lessons and received his pilot's license, and enjoyed fishing, work- ing on model cars, air- planes and puzzles. Williams was sur- vived by wife Mary Gephart of Shelton; stepdaughters Carolyn E. (Gale) McGrath of Shelton and Marilyn I. (Gordon) Ragan of Shelton; stepsons Ron J. (Judy) Brewer of Shelton and Edward J. (Nancy) Brewer of Shelton; stepdaughter- in-law Gail Brewer of Shelton; niece Sherri Gansioroski of An- chorage, Alaska; and numerous step-grand- children and great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Beverly Scott and stepson Bob Brewer. NNN gNN Jim Mullins James (Jim) Mullins, 80, died March 4, 2014, at his home. He was born May 13, 1933, to Edith Hubbard and Delman Mullins in Wise, Va. Jim enlisted in the Air Force when he was 17. He was stationed at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas, where he met and married Ann Col- lins in May i952. Jim worked in the aerospace industry. He retired June 1988 when he was 55 and he and Ann took off in their motorhome. They cov- ered most of the United States and provinces of Canada for 18 months on an adventure of a lifetime. Jim touched many people in his life, with his 41 years in AA, with his volunteer service at the Food Bank and as a husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. He is survived by his wife; five children, Rachelle Madrigal, Sandy Branner, Cheryl Fillo, Rick Mullins and Carol Perry; 10 grand- children, Jason Bran- her, James Branner, Kim Branner, Shane Sullivan, Billy Sullivan, Hattie Sullivan, Rich- ard Mullins, Steven Mullins, Kendra Hunt and Keslie Perry; and 10 great-grandchildren. Jack List John "Jack" J. List, 86, a resident of Shel- ton, died March 6, 2014, at home. He was born May 18, 1927, in Long Beach, Calif., to Charles Elmer List and Ruby Virginia Reddish. He served in the Navy from May 18, 1945, to December 1946. He was a pharmacist's mate third class on dis- charge. Jack married Janet M. Larssen on April 13, 1963. He was a district superinten- dent vice president at the junior college level. He was also a project finance offi- cer for the California State Department of Education and Teach- ers. He was a mem- ber of Rotary, Coast Guard Auxiliary, ham radio club and the Masonic Order and Shrine. He en- joyed boating (power and sail), and was a yacht club member in California from Sacramento to San Diego, and in Shel- ton. He is survived by his wife, Janet Marie Larssen List of Shel- ton; son John Joseph List of Santa Barbara, Calif.; daughter-in- law Paulette List of Santa Barbara; granddaughter Jonnt Garay of Pleasanton, Calif.; grandson-in- law Paul Garay of Pleasanton; great- grandsons Roman Garay, Ryland Garay and Damien Garay of Pleasanton; nephews Michael Linnard of Clifton Park, N.Y., and Tom Linnard of LaJolla, Calif.; niece Deborah Watson Linnard of LaJolla; grandnieces Christine and Janine of LaJolla; Deborah Azuaje of Orlando, Fla.; nephew Carlos Azuaje of Or- lando; grand-nieces Tanya and Elena Azuaje of Orlando and Boulder, Colo.; and grand-nephew Chris- topher of Orlando. Inurnment will take place in the future in California. Arrangements are by McComb & Wag- ner Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelton.
