Chairman of the board is outgoing president John (teacher) Bennett. with about 50 other scout leaders from the Tumwater area council. A Show and Do helps Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters and other adult scourers to review and learn new Kiwanis Speaker Ernest Geissler, administrative engineer for the County Road Administration Board, will be the speaker at the April 27 meeting of the Shelton Kiwanis Club at noon at the Timbers Restaurant. twists in Scout techniques. There were 18 stations, each manned by an experienced scouter, to teach a skill and direct the scourers in performing the skill. The scourers were divided' into 6 patrols of 5 men each and proceeded from one station to the next learning and doing as they went. Some of the skills covered were fire building, tarp and tent set up, knife and axe safety, trailing signs, patrol dishwashing, height and distance judging, first aid, signaling, flint and steel fire building, map reading and others.
