The organizers of the 2014 Grapeview Water and Art Festival are accepting submis- sions of artistic works for the festival's poster. The winning artist will receive $200. The deadline to enter is June 1. The subject of the work must represent the spirit of the festival such as images of sailing, fish, boats, ma- rine life, island, trees, the marina, flowers, mountains, beaches and other wildlife. It should be sized so it is 16-by-20 inches framed or ll-by-14 inches witha mat opening, but submit the piece unframed and without matting. Each artist is allowed one entry, and the piece must have been completed within the past two years. The artist must sign it. The organizers will add the Words "Grapeview Water and Art Festival" to the posters printed for sale at the festi- val, so consider this irryour design. The winner will be notified by June 9, and will be asked to sign a permission let- ter to copy the poster for sale at the Fair Harbor Marina, the festival and possibly for publicity.
