Sleep can have a profound effect on
diabetes, and understanding its impact
in order to get it under control should
be part of diabetes self-management. A
. "Sleep Secrets" skit will be presented at
the Annual Buffet Luncheon for the com-
bined Mason General Hospital & Family of
-Clinics Shelton and Allyn Diabetes Suppolt
Groups on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at
1 p.m. in the Hospital's Pershing & Ellinor
• meeting rooms. '
The two groups will also enjoy great
food prepared by MGH&FC Executive Che ,
John Cruse and his staff, as they serve a
delicious buffet lunch of salmon (chicken
as an alternate), roasted herb potatoes, ,
green beans with slivered almonds, spin-
ach salad, and pumpkin pie. A payment
, of $7 per person is required in advance
with pre-registration by Monday, October
13, by mail or in person. Checks should , .
