This is Carter; he is an older,
maybe 10, Yorkie/Silkie mix.
Carter was rescued from a very
poor situation and came to us
with practically no hair because
of poor nutrition and fleas. He
is thriving here at/ dopt-a-Pet
with plenty of good food, flea
meds, clean bedding and lots of
love. Now ready for anew home,
Carter gets along with other
dogs but would probably not do
well with small children. He is
deaf but knows some sign com-
mands, he will need an owner
who will be patient with him un-
til they understand each other.
Carter is one tough little guy for
surviving what he did and still
wanting the attention of hu-
