Sheriff's Office seeks suspected thieves
2 men caught on camera allegedly
taking generator near Agate area

The Mason County Sheriffs Office has request-
ed the public's assistance in identifying suspects
caught on camera allegedly stealing a generater.
Two men were caught on a security camera
just after 4:30.a.m. Oct. 9 at a home on Banjo
Lane in the Agate area.
The property owner reported that a genera-
tor was taken.
The Sheriffs Office has described one man
as Caucasian and the other as Hispanic.

suspects, call the Sheriff's Office at 427-7761
and refer to case number 14-14082.

Inmate found dead at prison

An inmate was found dead in an apparent sui-
cide last week at the Washington Corrections Cen-
ter in Shelton.
Nicholas White, 31, was found hanging in his
cell at 10 a.m. Oct. 16.
The Mason County Sheriffs Office and prison
administrators are investigating the incident.
Corrections Center staff does not suspect third-
party foul play.
According to a news release from the Correc-
tions Center, White's cell mate told prison staff
that White was acting strange during that morn-
ing's recreation time.
Staff found White hanging in his cell when they
went to check on him. Medical staff attempted to
revive White but were unsuccessful.
White was serving a 12-month sentence for un-
lawful possession of a firearm in the first degree.
