Maxine Lois (Bush)
Peck, 85, died Oct. 11,
2014, at Providence St.
Peter Hospital in Olym-
pia.
She was born Sept. 6,
1929, to George W. and
Ethel (Richards) Bush in
Salina, Kansas.
Maxine married Har-
old W. Peck in 1946 in
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
She worked as a
licensed nurse practitio-
ner for 28 years at Fir
Lane Health & Rehabili-
tation Center in Shelton.
Maxine loved garden-
ing, sewing and helping
those in need. She was a
staunch Democrat.
She is survived
by daughters Sharon
Moshier of Shelton, Jeri-
lyn Peck of Tacoma and
Tammy Keil of Shelton;
sons Alan Peck of Olym-
pia and Patrick Peck of
Texas; 12 grandchildren;
and 25 great-grandchil-
dren.
Maxine was preceded
in death by husband
Harold Peck and daugh-
ter Joleen Peck.
A service will be
planned for a later date.

Adam John Aaro, 43,

He was born March
12, 1971, to John Rich-
ard Aaro and Wanda
Rae (Wallin) Aaro in
Shelton.
Adam graduated from
Shelton High School in
1989.
He studied automo-
tive technology at a tech-
nical school in Idaho. He
then returned to Shelton
and went to work in the
timber industry.
Adam then studied to
be a surveyor at Grays
Harbor College in Aber-
deen.
He enjoyed hunting
and fishing.
Adam is survived
by son Dwight Aaro
of Colorado; mother
Wanda (John) Mann of
La Quinta, California;
sister Amanda (Jeff)
Fassio of Morgan Hill,
California; nieces Alyssa
Fassio and Andrea Fas-
sio; uncle Alan Wallin of
Bremerton; aunt Cathy

and grandfather Gordon
Wallin of Paradise, Cali-
fornia.
Adam was preceded

She was born Jan. 3,
1946, to William A. and
Amelia A. (Robsin) How-
ell in Olympia.
Amelia was married
to George Tauber un-
til his death. She then
was married to Michael
Neese until his death.
She worked as a
beautician in New York,
as a janitor and as a
caregiver.
Amelia loved animals,
gardening and doing jig-
saw puzzles.
She is survived by

Richard Cultee
Richard Lewis Cultee
was born April 16, 1931
in a house in Tahola,
Washington and passed
away on October 11, 2014
at Harrison Medical Center
in Bremerton, Washington.
Richard lived the first
part of his life in Tahola,
Wa with his parents, Henry
Cultee and Louise (Miller)
Cultee and siblings. In 1957, Richard and his family
moved to Skokomish where Richard and his father
Henry built two houses for his mother Louise
(Miller) Cultee. It's also where he spent the rest of
his life.
He served four years in the army's core of
engineers stationed in Nancy, France helping
i rebuild after WWII. He loved telling stories of his
time in the army and France.
After that he .went to work for Simpson logging
company for twenty years and still did some fishing.
He took care of some of his deceased siblings'
children including Edward Charles Cultee Jr. and
his brother, and his sister's son Travis Prest. He also
took care of a lot of his nieces and nephews.
He was a world famous Native American basket
weaver, which he learned at the age of seven. His
work is displayed at the Smithsonian Museum and
people came from around the world for a piece of
his work. He also taught around the Puget Sound a
little.
Emery Mount Jr. along with Elizabeth and
Lorrine, took care of him to the end. He is preceded
in death by his parents and siblings William "Butch"
Cultee, Edward Charles Cultee Sr. and sister Shirley
(Cultee) Davis. He is survived by his brother Henry
Cultee Jr. and sister Linda (Cultee) Standing-Elk
and numerous nieces and nephews.
