The North Mason Regional Fire Authority (NMRFA) is asking its residents to answer that question at a forum to discuss its five-year strategic plan. The forum will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Mary E. Theler Community Center in Belfair. "I want it to be a document that people inside the build- ing and outside the organiza- tion can pick up and say ... I can see exactly what the North Mason Regional Fire Author- ity is going to look like in five years," NMRFA Chief Beau Bakken said. Bakken will give a presenta- tion at 6 p.m. He said the rest of the evening will be informal, Bakken and he in- vites area residents to drop in for infor- mation or to provide input on the plan. Bakken said government organizations, such as fire districts, can get caught up in their day-to-day duties. '~/hat we can easily lose sight of is plotting a course for the Fire District ... in the long range," he said. "A plan keeps you on course."
