Club President Gary Nicloy presided ore' the dinner, while ttazel Durand and Clyde Coots presented the awards. Ladies Club awards went to; Jean Jost, winner of the spring tournament, runner up of the event was Doris Christy and Martha Cole took the consolation prize. In the ladies Summer Best Ball tournament, Anita Kimbel and Ruth Butler were the winners. In the two eclectics held by the ladies Jean Yost won the spring event with Helen Walker taking the nine hole division. In the fall event Gini Pauley and ttazeI Durand tied for top honors. Gyms Open Shelton schools have opened their gyms to Shelton's youth on Saturdays. From 10:00 to 12:00 a little league basketball session is held. Grades 3-6 are welcomed to attend the sessions, which stress the fundamentals with some competition. From 12:00 to 2:00 everyone is encouraged Io participate.
