Clementine Latham reported a house entered and half a case of beer and records taken. Mrs. Agnes Kangas reported a ring lost. SHERIFF'S OFFICE Mrs. Larry Johnson reported a power line down. Mike Johnson reported a horse loose in his yard. Clifford Cowling reported he was involved in a minor accident on the Dayton Road. Ron Elledge reported a small, white Poodle missing. A resident of the Dayton area reported a wheel loosened on a vehicle. Guy Pole reported a tank of gas taken. Vern LaMarsh reported a mail box torn down. Mrs. Pinard reported a trailer house broken into. Dick Giles reported two .22 pistols taken. C. M. Stevens reported a house entered and a metal box, knives, compass, flashlight bulbs, needles, a gun blueing kit and blankets taken. The Hood Canal School was reported broken into. CITY BUILDING PERMITS Building permits approved by the city of Shelton during the past week were to Raymond Orr, add to residence, $5,200. FIRE DEPARTMENT Dec. 22, 4:05 p.m., dryer and clothing caught fire at the home of Mrs. J. Monger. Clara A. Wilson Dies In Hospital Miss Clara A. Wilson, Hoodsport, died Sunday in Mason General Hospital at the age of 60 years. She was employed as a registered nurse and was a veteran of World War II. Born August 12, 1911 in California, Miss Wilson had resided in this area for 34 years. There are no survivors. A service was held in Batstone Funeral Home at 1 1 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Wesley Gain officiating and burial in Shelton Memorial Park. Mason General Hospital A son to Mr. and Mrs. Dan R. Knauf, Rt. 10, Box 56, December 25. A daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Knipschield, 1729 Washington St., December 28.
