Noticeto bidders, Hood Canal Tele-
phone Co., Inc. (HCC), Union, Washing-
ton material for the Northern Hood Canal
Fiber Project bids will be received for fiber
optic construction materials. Invitation for
‘Bid: Fiber Optic Construction Materials.
Bid documents can be found at: www.
hco.net/projects. Bid Opening: January
27, 2023, at am. at 300 E Dalby Rd.,
Union, WA 98592. Submitted bids will be
opened publicly and read in HCCs con—
ference room, immediately thereafter.
Sealed bids or emailed bids received af-
ter the specific opening time will not be
accepted. Bid items will include: fiber
optic construction materials. Email ques-
tions to fiberbuilds@hoodcanal.net. Q&A
period will end January 13, 2023. All bid
materials must be in writing, placed in a
sealed envelope with an indication with
the project name on the envelope and
be filed with HCC or emailed submission
on or before the day and hour mentioned
above. HCC reserves the right to accept
or reject bids on each item separately or
as a whole, or to reject all bids, to waive
informalities and to contract as to the
best interest of HCC. Submitted bids
must be from Responsible Bidders, as
defined in RCW 39.04.010 and 39.04.350.
All contractors must be licensed in the
State of Washington to conduct business.
This project is partially funded by federal
award number 53—08—I2209 (BIP NTIA)
awarded to Washington State Broadband
Office by the US. Department of Com-
merce. Hood Canal Communications is

PUBLIC NOTICE .
The Port of Allyn cordially invites your
firm to bid on the ovenrvater portion of the
restoration of the historic Sargent Oyster
House This project requires piles being
driven and construction of an overwater
platform on which the Oyster House build-
ing will be permanently located. Moving
the building on to the platform is not part
of this contract. This contract simply cov-
ers driving the non—creosote pilings and
constructing the platform. The engineer—
ing and bid specifications are attached. If
you have questions about either, please
contact BradGinn of Art Anderson As-

tanderson.com. The location of this proj—
ect is at the Port of Allyn’s Waterfront Park
on the North Bay of Case inlet. The ad—
dress is 18560 E. State Route in Allyn.
The timeline for this job to be completed
is prior to the close of this year’s “Fish
Window" if at all possible. If for some
reason that is not possible, the overwater
work needs to commence on day one of
the fish window. The contractor will
be expected to have all prior mobilization
completed prior to that date so work can
begin immediately upon the opening day
of the fish window. The Port has secured
the required Army Corp of Engineers per-
mit for this , a. State Hydraulic Permit,
and a Mason County Shoreline Permit.
The contractor will be required to secure
whatever additional permits may be re-
quired. This is a Prevailing Wage project.
