Mason's 23-0 run to start
the game.
"He got us going right
away with a couple of put
backs at the start," Hackett
said.
But North Mason strug-
gled in the second half, out-
scored 35-20. Second half.
letdovcns h&ve been an is-
sue for the Bulldogs this
season, Hackett said.
"We have to have the
killer instinct to go in and
knock a team out," Hackett
said.
Free throws were also
an issue for the Bulldogs,
converting nine out of 20
attempts.
"We'll obviously work on
that, as well as our execut-
ing and finishing," Hackett
said.
The win was important
as the Bulldogs go to North
Kitsap High School in
Poulsbo on Friday hoping
to start climbing the league
standings.
"We carry this momen-
tum into Poulsbo and get a
couple of wins, we'll be roll-
ing," Hackett said.
The win was a good shift
of momentum after the
Bulldogs went 0-2 at the
Yakima SunDome Tourna-
ment on December 29 and
30.
North Mason lost 53-49
to Columbia Burbank High
School on December 29 and
then fell 57-42 to Colfax
High School on December
30.
