LIND, WASH. IS FIRST HOME
FOR RECENTLY MARRIED COUPLE
MAKING THEIR HOME in Lind, Wash. are Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Johnson, recent newlyweds. She is the former Katherine Richey,
daughter 'of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Richey, Shelton. He is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Nils Johnson, Everett.
The recent marriage of Miss Dressed to match the maid of
t:atherine Sue Richey to Roy honor were bridesmaids Miss Mary
Thomas Johnson was held in the MacRae, Miss Cheryl Butler and
Portsmouth Trinity church, Port-
land with Rev. Arnold F. Ander-
son officiating. The double ring
cere, mony was performed amid
decorations of white gladioli arid
yellow chrysanthemums with
white satin bows on the pews.
Parents of the couple are Mr.
and Mrs. Otis Richey, Shclton, and
Mr. and Mrs. Nils John~,~0n, Ev-
erett. Mr. Richey gave his daugll-
ter in marriage. !
Miss Richey's gown was of
white peaue-de-sois with a lace
jacket and a chapel length train.
She wore a shoulder-length veil
and carried white gladioli and
gardenias.
Miss Pa.tlA Richey, sister of the
bride, was her maid of honor. She'
-~¢as iattired in a street-length
dress of scafoam green peau-de-
sole and wore a matching head-
piece of tulle. Her bouquet was of
~'ellov¢ roses.

Miss Ardith Pankratz, Portland.
Paula.Cook of Portland was flow-
er girl. Groom's cake was passed
by the bride's cousin, Suzette
Jones.
Lighting the candles were WiN
liam Cook, Jr., and Paul Ander.-
son, both of Portland.
Acting as best m~n was "Larry
D. Reicrson of Bremerton with
Delbect Grouerhaiz doing honors
as groomsman. Ushering were Ri-
chard Pashley, Nell Martins(m,
Portland, :and Grog and Stove Ri-
chey.
Mr.~. Arnold F. A'nderson wa~
organist ~¢ith the church choir
and men's chorus furnishing the
vocal selections.
A coral wool crepe dress with
brown accessories and a white
gardenia corsage was worn by the
bride'~ mother. Mrs. Johnson's
beige brocade dress was accented
with ~ pink rosebud corsage.
The church parish hall was the
scene of the reccl)tion following
the ceremcmy. A thrhe-tiered cake
was topped with the symbol "Mar-
riage in Christ".
II Serving were Miss Linda .Le-
[ man, Mrs. Woodrow Jones of
I~h'andview and Mrs. Freeman
i Griffith of Lebanon, Ore., and
Mrs. William Cook, of Portland,
all aunts of the bride. Miss Linda
Murhpy attended the guest book
while Mrs, Delbert Grouerholz
took over the gift table.
The couple will live in Lind,
Wash., where he is pastor of the
Good Hope Lutheran clmrch. Mrs.
Johnson graduated from Shelton
High school in 1961 and the
Emanuel Hospital School of Nurs-
ing in 1964. Her husbapd attended
Pacific Lutheran University and
graduated from Luther Seminary
in St. Paul, Minn.
