Schlauderaffs celebrate 25th
Mark and Pamela Schlauderaff were
married on January 9, 1982. They
have lived in Mason County for most
of their married life. Both husband
and wife are active in the medical
field and work at Olympic Physicians
in Shelton. The couple has three sons:
Tyler, a sophomore in college; Caleb,
a freshman in college; and Abraham, a
sophomore in high school. Their office
staff recently hosted a small reception
on the occasion of their 25th wedding
anniversary. Friends and family at-
tended.

Blaine ,Jay Carpenter were mar-
ried August 5 on Harstine Island.
The wedding took place on the
groom's parents 40th wedding
anniversary on the waterfront at
the home of Sonya and Bob Cole.

Three Leg Torso immediately fol-
lowed.

dants. Caleesta Carpenter par-
ticipated as the flower girl.
The bride is the daughter of
Pat and John Dunlap. She gradu-
ated from Shelton High School in
1995 and from the University of
Washington with a bachelor's de-
gree in theater. She works as an
actress and is also employed by
the University of Washington.
The groom is the son of Elaine
and Bob Carpenter. He graduat-
ed from Caldwell High School in
1990 and received a bachelor of
fine arts degree from the Cornish
College of the Arts and a master
of fine arts degree in communica-
tion design from the University
of Washington.
He is employed by Microsoft
in creative design. The couple re-
sides in Seattle.

Moose will thank firefighters
Members of the Shelton Moose
appreciate the work of volunVeer
firefighters and plan to express
their gratitude by oflring them a
dinner and dance this month.
The menu will feature a choice
of chicken cordon bleu or dressed
pork chops and will be complimen-
tary to all volunteer firefighters.
Guests will pay $6 for the meal.
"Mason County Idol" George
Mick, a Garth Brooks imitator,
will perform at the dance. The
whole event will take place from
5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, January
27, at the Moose lodge, located at
741 SE Craig Road.
Also, every Thursday from 6:30
to 8 p.m. the Old Time Fiddlers
will perform open rehearsals at
the lodge. From now until Sep-
tember, the local Moose are also
collecting can tabs as a fund-rais-
er to support children on dialysis
through the Ronald McDonald
House.

ton Cecil Norwood are engaged to
marry. Their wedding is scheduled
to take place on Saturday, July
28, at Wesley United Methodist
Church in Yakima.
The bride-to-be is the daughter
of Glenn and Joyce Miller of Selah.
She graduated from Selah High
School in 2001 and from Eastern
Washington University in 2006.
She now works at Westside Physi-
cal Therapy Clinic in Yakima.
