at home 42-37.
"Bellarmine was obvi-
ously a disappointing loss,
especially when we wres-
tled so well against their
top wrestlers," Chris Lacy,
head coach, said.

for the Highclimbers were
senior Ty McCullough
at 113. sophomore Jesus
Nunez at 126, senior Adam

rick won by major decision,

Coffman said the team
did well. considering that
the Shelton lineup from the
145-pound weight class and
above were wrestling up
one class.
bunch of guys in the mid-
dle weights," Coffman ex-
plained. "We would've had
two forfeits instead of just
one if we hadn't wrestled
up."
Judging by the cheers of
the crowd, Coffman's bout
was one of the most intense.
with him leading in points
for most of the match and
then pinning his opponent
in the third period.
"The kid was pretty
good," Coffman said. "He
wasn't giving up any easy
points, but when it came
to conditioning, I could feel
him gas out in the second
round."
Also wrestling for the
Highclimbers were sopho-
more Kenny Zacharias at

Cullough at 152, junior

cause their match counts
were low." Lacy said. "It
was a lot of fun and they all
wrestled great. They were
relaxed and confident."
He said third place
is right about where he
thought the team should
have finished.
"We had a chance to fin-
ish second and just lost a
couple close matches." Lacy
added.
