The Climbers closed the gap to ‘single digits sev-
eral times in the second half, holding the Warriors
to just 11 points after halftime, but could not con—
vert on several key opportunities and scored just
three points in the fourth quarter in the loss.
Shelton (0-8, 0-4) was scheduled to take on Tum- ‘
water on Wednesday and hosts W.F. West at home
Friday.
Boys basketball
The Shelton boys basketball team (4-4, have
not played since Dec. a 69-49 loss to Auburn .
Mountainview on theroad. The Highclimbers host-
ed Tumwater on Tuesday and host W.F. West in an
ing 61-33 to Olympic on Jan. 8 in Olympic League
games.
North Mason (1—8, 0-6) was scheduled to travel to
take on defending state champion North Kitsap on
Tuesday and Will hit the road on Thursday against
Kingston and Saturday against Quilcene.
Girls basketball
North Mason fell to Bainbridge 46-31 last Sat—
urday in the Bulldog’s first game in more than two
weeks.
The Bulldogs (2-5, 0-5) are scheduled’to host
Bremerton on Thursday and North Kitsap on Fri-
day in Olympic League games. . '
Bowling
The North Mason girls bowling team earned its
first win of the season, defeating Sequim 3-2 on
' The Owls earned a 44-40 win on the road against
Lake Quinault in a nonleague game Jan. 8. . '
Mary M. Knight (2-5) hosted North River on
Tuesday. The team has a triple header starting to-
day at home against Oakville, traveling to Wishkah
Valley on Friday and hosting Three Rivers Chris—
tian on Saturday.
Girls basketball
Mary M. Knight (3-4) has not played since Dec.
18, but the Owls were scheduled to face Black Hills’
C—Team at home ‘on Tuesday.
The girls also have a triple header coming up,
facing Oakville at home Thursday, traveling to
Wishkah Valley on Friday before coming home to
take on Three Rivers Christian.
