George Miller \
(1934-2021)
Born in Tacoma, WA, in 1934, George lived
in Spanaway until 1955, attending Spanaway
Grade School. He graduated from Highline Ju-
nior College 1963 as Associate Engineer. He
studied Electrical/Electronic Engineering at UW
1963-1965. He worked at Boeing frdm 1967 to
1992, first as a Wind Tunnel Model Technician.
He became an engineer in 1965 and served 27
years as Instrumentation Engineer, supporting
various company projects (Voyager, Lunar Rov-
er, Apollo & Saturn 5, Minuteman, Morgantown
Transportation, B52, and all commercial aircraft
from 707 through 777, B2, F22, and National
Aerospace Transport). He retired from Test Pro-
pulsion Test Group, N. Boeing Field December 1, 1992. '
His proudest achievement was working for a year on the construc-
tion of the B&W, a replica of the first airplane Boeing built in 1915.
This airplane is on display at Museum of Flight, Boeing Field, and
Seattle, WA.
George honorably discharged from the US Army on March 30,
1962, after three years active National Guard/Motor Sgt, and four
years inactive Army Reserve.
He was initiated as charter member of Federal Way Elks on March
1, 1970, after 1% years work on institution committee. He became the
third Exalted Ruler Apr 1972-1973, served eight years as WA State
Trustee. He became District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler for the
year 1979—1980 in Puget Sound District, and served again as Exalted
Ruler for year 1981-1982 and as Grand Lodge Inner Guard 1981-
1982. He has been a lifetime member since February 1973.
He was initiated May 11, .1988, in Thornton F. McElroy Lodge 302
Free & Accepted Masons. He became a Master Mason, 3rd Degree on
December 7, 1988. He has beena Life member since February 12,
1991. Joined the Scottish Rite of Masonry and attained 32nd Degree
of Masonry. Is a member of AFIFI Shrine in Tacoma, WA.
He joined the Fraternal Order of Eagles in 1979 and the Loyal Or-
der of the Moose in 1981; he became a member of Shelton American
For the past 30 years, George lived withhis wife Donna in the Lake
Limerick Community, wintering in Mesa, AZ. His hobbies included
model railroading, whittling, and singing western songs with his ka-
raoke machine. .
He is survived by three children (Kathleen, Steve & Scott), three
step-children (Joseph, Kort & Brian), twelve grandchildren and many
Kgreat-grandchildren. He passed away in Arizona on January 9, 2021.

Lawrence (Larry) Lee Boldrin
Lawrence (Larry) Lee Boldrin, age 73, passed
away peacefully in his home at 3:00 pm, on De- '
cember 18, 2020. He was born in Bremerton,
Washington, to William and Marie (Renner) Bol-
drin. He was one of five children.
Larry was raised in Port Orchard, where he
and his twin brother, Jerry, were known for their
loyalty to family and friends, their strong work
ethic...and their escapades with their buddies.
The twins graduated from South Kitsap High
School in 1965. After graduation, Larry attended
Seattle University, where he majored in Electri-
cal Engi-wneering. He was active in the ROTC
. program and he joined the US Army, where he
earned the rank of Captain before his honorable discharge. Prior to
retiring in June, his most recent employment was with Elcon Corpo-
ration in Mukilteo, WA.
Larry was preceded in death by his son, Kevin, his parents, and
several aunts and uncles on both the Renner and Boldrin sides of the
family. He is survived by his wife, Nita Boldrin; his step—daughter,
Whitney Martin; his older brother, Clete Boldrin, married to Delores;
his twin brother, Jerome Boldrin, married to Pam; his younger sister,
Patricia Boldrin Penaranda, married to Joe; his youngest brother,
Mike Boldrin, married to Elena; three nephews, two nieces, and 10
great nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, there are no plans for a public celebra-
tion of life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lawrence’s
