BIG CREEK 2019 THIN”
logging unit. Bid openings
will occur at the Bureau
of Indian Affairs, Puget
Sound Agency building,
Suite 1101, in Everett,
Washington. The sale is
a SCALED SALE (and
contains approximately
74.2 acres with an
estimated yield of 4,567
gross tons (590 MBF),
including approximately
4,528 gross tons (585
MBF) Douglas fir, and
gross tons (5 MBF) western
hemlock. The above stated
weights are estimates
and are not guaranteed,
bidders should rely on their
own independent estimates
of quality and quantity of
timber. Construction and
reconstruction of existing
roads is required. All road
work and materials must
be paid for and provided
by bidder. No log export
restrictions exist on the
sale. Each bidder must
state the price that will be
paid for the various log
sorts included in this sale.
No bidding preferences
will be given. The minimum
qualifying bid will be $47/
gross ton for camp run
sawlogs/tonwood and $2/
gross ton for pulp. Bids
must be accompanied by a
bid deposit in the amount of
10% of the' total estimated
purchase price in the form
of a certified check. The bid
deposit of the successful
bidder will be retained and
upon final bid acceptance
it shall be applied as an
advance deposit toward
the purchase of the timber.
Bidder must also supply
a performance bond in
the amount $25,000. The
remaining amount of the
bid price will be paid in
installments to an advance.
