NOTICE OF APPLICATION The City of
Shelton has received an application for a 900
square foot addition to the rear (alley side) of
the structure at 423 West Railroad Avenue:

Proponent: 1% investments LLC, Attention
Jim Boad Project Description: Demolition of
, an approximately 98 square foot wood en~‘
closure with shed roof at rear (alley side) of
building in favor of constructing a 900 square
foot enclosed/covered outdoor dining area
consisting of 450 square feet of seating/
dining/bar area, 270 square feet of storage
area, and 762 square feet of fully outdoor
seating on top of the addition. The outdoor
seating would be accessed via a stairway on
the west side of the proposed structure. The
structure would be accessed via the existing
doorway at the rear of the structure, would
have doon/vays to the eating area and the
storage area accessible from the alley. The
structure would not alter the existing building
at the site and would stand approximately 12
feet tall at the deck height. Railings would be
installed long the top of the deck. The struc—
ture would be sided with horizontal lapped
siding (Hardi Plank or similar) and painted to
match the building. The area is currently cov—
ered in gravel and surrounding by fencing.
