The Mason County Department of Utilities
and Waste Management is seeking sealed
bid proposals for the removal of salvageable
metals for recycling at the Transfer Station
on Eells Hill Road in Sheiton, and the Belfair
Drop Box on Sand Hill Road in Belfair.
Sealed Bid Proposals will be received
by the County of Mason at the office of the
County Commissioners located in Court-
house Building I, 411 North 5th Street,
Sheiton, Washington 98584, until 5:00pm,
Wednesday February 7, 2007. Bids will be
publicly opened and read at 10:00am, Thurs-
day, February 8, 2007.
Bid Proposal information can be obtained
at the office of the Mason County Department
of Utilities and Waste Management located
in Courthouse Building 2 at 410 North 4th
Street, (PC. Box 578), Shelton, Washington,

This project is subject to State Prevailing
Wage Rate Requirements, Chapter 39.12
RCW, Prevailing Wages on Public Works.

forms furnished by the County, sealed and
filed with the Clerk of the Board of County
Commissioners on or before the day end
hour mentioned above.
Quotations must include the total cost to
Mason County, including sales tax.
The Contractor shall be licensed to do
business in the State of Washington
Mason County hereby notifies all bidders
that it will affirmatively insure that in any con-
tract entered into pursuant to this advertise-
ment that minority business enterprises will
be afforded full opportunity to submit bids
in response to this invitation, and will not be

plant and algae management. Haven Lake

Haven Lake may be treated to control
aquatic weeds and algae growth between
April 15th throJgh Oct. 30. The chemicals
planned for use are: Diquat, Endothall,
Glyphosate with adjuvant, and Flundone.
