Parker is employed as a senior product manager for connected sales and marketing with Micro- soft. The couple are both members of the Seattle Symphony's young pro- fessionals' networking group, Wolf- gang. They met in May 2004 after attending a symphony concert. The family reports that in July 2006 Matt asked Allison to marry him while walking along West Seattle's Alki Beach. The couple plans to make their first home in Ballard. Philo R.W. Allen Philo R.W. Allen died on Janu- ary 9 at Swedish Hospital in Se- attle. He was 72 and a resident of Belfair. He was born on Septem- ber 17, 1934 in Presser to Cyle and Eilene (Vin- cent) Allen. He married Jacquelyn Rae Clark on August 13, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada ...... Mr. Allen grad- uated from Cheney High School. He attained his bach- Philo R.W. elor's degree in oc- Allen cupational educa- tion from Southern Illinois University in 1985. He worked for federal civil ser- vice for 33 years, retiring f?om the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton in 1994. He began his career at the Naval Air Station, North Island in San Diego, Cali- fornia, as an apprentice machinist and spent four years at The Boeing Company in Seattle as a computer programmer before_ completing his civil service at the Bremerton shipyard. He was a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1953 to 1957, serving in the Korean war. Philo was a man of honor and love of God who lived the Masonic order's precepts of cheerful service to all those around him, family members said. He was a Past Mas- ter of the Hood Canal Lodge 288 of Free and Accepted Masons and a member of the Fire District 2 Vol- unteer Firefighters Association in Belfair. Surviving are wife Jackie Allen of Belfair; son Kerry Allen of Gig Harbor; daughters Jaye Morris of Port Orchard and Wendy Fuller and husband Kevin of Tualatin, Oregon; brothers Rhio Allen and wife Pat of Des Moines, Iowa, and COMMUNITY CALENDAR Rhico Allen and wife Connie of Port Orchard; grandchildren Ryan Harrell, Erin Harrell, Kristina Al- len, Jessica Allen and Ashley Full- er; and great-grandchild Caylee Harrell.
