-- February Is Children's Dental Health Awareness Month CHILDREN'S DENTAL HEALTH MONTH focuses on educating children and parents on the importance of establishing good oral health habits early in life. Common problems like cavities and gingivitis cause (:hildren physical pain and can negatively impact their self-esteem or even attention to learning. Brushing and flossing will fight plaque and keep teeth strong and healthy. It's important that children get in the habit of brushing their teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, as well as flossing every day.
