girls basketball team knocked
off the Elma junior varsity team
39-22 on Jan. 25 in Matlock. Hai-
ley Morris led the Owls with 16
points and Hailey Lohman added
11 against the Eagles. MMK fol-
lowed up that win with a 52-31
victory on Friday at Oakville that
secured a top-two finish in 18
Coastal League action for the
Owls and guaranteed the team a
first round 13 District IV tourna-
me‘nt game at home.
The Owls are 6-1 in Coastal
. League play, 9-8 overall.
