team is begining to play like a
team. The class is studying sunny
Italy and its city of Seven Hills
while tangling with percentages
in math.
EIGHTH GRADE-The class is
hoping everyone passed and is
looking forward to report cards.
One of the girls, it is discovered,
had her appendix removed over
the Christmas holidays without
broadcasting the event. She still
wants to remain anonymous, how-
ever she is recently from Calif-
ornia.
NII'/TH GRADE -- With the
end of the semester, the class will
see some changes in subjects. Wa-
hington State History will take
over from Science, Algebra will
split to either General Math or
Algcbra and the English and Lit-
erature classes will reverse• The
Basketball team traveled to Shel-
ton taking on the Ninth graders
it here. The score was Shelton 24
and Hood Canal 36.
HERE AND THERE -- This
year's cheerleaders are busily try-
ing to collect m~employment com-
pensation. Home gurnes this year
have been ntl because of the loss
of the Hoodsport gym to the snow
