An omnibus hearing in the
case of Larry T. Pike, Shelton,
was continued after brief
lesti|nony in Mason County
Superior Court Friday.
Pike is scheduled to go to trial
on the charge later.
Deputy Sheriff B. Dean Byrd
testified Pike had been a
passenger in a vehicle he stopped
the evening of Decen|ber 9.
Byrd testified the vehicle was
stopped after sheriff's officers had
received a telephone call a short
time before.
Defense attorney Gerald
Whitcomb's question as to whom
the call was from brought an
objection from Deputy
Prosecuting Attorney Gary
Burleson.
The objection was upheld by

DEODORANT
IRRITATION?
Q. 1 often get a painful,
burning irritation under my
left arm. It never happens on
the right side. Could 1 be
allergic to my deodorant and,
if so, why does it happen only
on one side?
A. You are probably using
a product that is both a
deodorant and an
antiperspirant. Antiperspirants
often contain irritating
chemicals.
If the irritation develops
only under your left arm, you
are probably right-handed.
Since your right hand is more
muscularly developed, you are
inclined to use more pressure
when applying deodorant with
this hand. The greater pressure
means greater irritation.
