SON DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
SHELTON, WASHINGTON 2020 MANUFAC-
TURING STOCKPILING OF CHIP SEAL
AGGREGATE SEALED BIDS, will be received
for the 2020 Manufacturing Stockpiling of
Chip Seal Aggregate (Range $100,000 to
$150,000), at the office of the Mason County
Commissioners, located in Building 1, 411
North 5th Street, Shelton, Washington, 98584,
until 9:00 AM, February 28, 2020. Submit-
ted bids will be publicly opened and read in
the Commissioner Chambers, Building l, im—
mediately thereafter. Sealed Bids received
after the specified opening time will not be
accepted. MAJOR BID ITEMS will include:
Approximately 4,490 TONS of Chip Rock Ag-
gregate for Bituminous Surface Treatment and
Stockpiling of materials as identified locations
throughout Mason County in accordance with
the 2020 WSDOT. Standard Specifications,
and the Special Provisions for this project.

Description: The City of Shelton proposes
four minor amendments to the Shelton Mu-
nicipal Code to facilitate affordable housing
as follows: Chapter 20.32 (Planned Unit De-
velopment), section 20.32.110 is proposed
to be amended to specifically allow for Single
Room Occupancy (SRO) uses. Chapter 18.14
(Amendments to the International Residential
Code) would have a new section 18.14.080
added which addresses Single Room Occu-
pancy (SRO) sleeping units. Chapter 18.02
(Definitions) would have a new Section
18.02.110 which defines Single Room Occu-
pancy Sleeping Units Chapter 18.08 (Mobile/
Manufactured Homes) would amend Section
18.08.040 and 1808050 to allow for single
wide units (currently not allowed outside of
mobile home parks). A final SEPA determina-
tion regarding the proposed changes will not
be made before February 28, 2020. Comment
