Courtesy photo Suspect in OCCU arrested robbery Law enforcement took a 35-year- old Olympia resident into custody Feb. 4, less than 24 hours after she al- legedly robbed the Steamboat Island branch of Our Community Credit Union. According to the online jail roster, Erin Lynne Wruck remained in custo- dy of Thurston County Jail as of Tues- day morning on $25,000 bond. She's cheduled for arraignment Tuesday on a charge of first-degree robbery while armed with a deadly weapon. Law enforcement reports accuse Wruck of entering the credit union branch in the morning, showing a teller a note demanding money and flashing a firearm. She reportedly fled in a white Mercedes-Benz SUV, which was later found abandoned on Delphi Road Southwest in Olympia. OCCU is a Shelton-based, member- owned financial cooperative. County offices close due to storms Snow and rain events through Tuesday evening caused the closure of all Mason County offices on Mon- day, all but the office of county Audi- tor Paddy McGuire remained closed Tuesday and only the county courts, including Superior, District and Ju- venile courts, the prosecutor's, public defender's and county clerk's offices reopened Wednesday. All meetings of the Board of.Mason County Commissioners were cancelled for the week, including Monday brief- ings and its regular business meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday. McGuire's office, charged with running Tuesday's special election, remained opened between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday, when the first election results were scheduled for release. Tuesday's ballot featured four tax levy measures two in the Hood Canal School District and one each in the Pioneer and Southside school districts. See page A-1 for complete election results.
