"Those of us in the nonprofit sec- tor are really the experts at work- ing with volunteers," Sheldon said, "So we're inviting our members to share their experiences and suc- cess stories, as well as their fi'us- trations and questions. We'll all be our own expert guest speakers at this meeting - so it should be fun!" According to Sheldon, the alli- ance is made up primarily of social set-eice nonprofits in Mason Coun- ty that want to better serve their clients by joining together in an organized network. Representa- tives of other nonprofit groups are welcome too. Members are asked to bring a salad or dessert to this event. Auxiliary members will be presented with longevity pins. They will also host a card party at 1 p.m. that afternoon. All proceeds will benefit the cancer aid and research program. The post and auxiliary also host bingo each Saturday, with "early-bird" bingo beginning at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome at the card party and bingo. Chicken Cordon Bleu Ingredients: 10-oz chicken breast ll/2 parts heavy cream 1 part cream of mushroom soup, concentrated White and yellow cheese, shred- ded White cheese, sliced Ham, finely diced Bread crumbs Preparation." Pound the chicken down to 1/4- inch thick. Mix the cream and mushroom sauce.
