WORKS 2023 DATA IMPROVEMENT PROJ-
ECT Mason County is seeking submittal of
proposals from qualified equipment suppliers
to provide equipment and training to gather
and store road data to be used for road safe-
ty projects. PROPOSALS will be received for
the 2023 DATA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
until 9:00am, Friday, March 3, 2023. Sub—
mittals received after the specified opening
time will not be accepted. The Request for

US Highway 101 across a six-mile.utility
pole span owned and maintained by Mason
County PUD 1. This project also includes the
replacement of one hundred and fifty-eight
poles. The poles being replaced are either
undersized, under classed or determined
over aged. Poles will be replaced within the
PUD's established right of way with Wash-
ington Department of Transportation. Project
to include grading, base material, rock, and
other materials to ensure poles are placed '
in a resilient manner. This determination of
non—significance is based on replacing al—
ready existing facilities, and not performing
any activities that threaten the surrounding

spans approximately 5.8 miles from North of
Forest Dr., Brinnon WA (MP 314.33) to Mt.

agency for this proposal, has determined that
this proposal Will not have a probable signifi-
cant adverse impact on the environment. An
environmental impact statement (EIS) is not
required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This
decision was made after review of a complet—
ed environmental checklist and other informa-
tion on file with the lead agency. This infor-
mation is available to the public on request.
This Determination of Non-significance (DNS)
is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead
agency will not act on this proposal for four—
