Kathryn Mary Gelormini,
99, died February 14, 2011
at Mason General Hospital.
She was a resident of Shelton
for three and a half years.
She was born May 9, 1911
to John and Margaret (Cro-
nin) O'Sullivan in County
Cork, Ireland.
She married Joseph Gel-
ormini.
She was a past member of
the Moose and enjoyed gar-
dening, sewing and making
potholders.
She is survived by her
daughters Margaret Knox
of Summers, Ariz., Carmella
Marshall of Westville, Okla.
and Kathryn Webster of
Shelton, five grandchildren
and four great-grandchil-
dren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband Joseph and
two sisters.

Wilma Jean
Hennig
Wilma Jean (Conn) Hen-
nig, 79, Died February 8,
2011 at her home in Shel-
ton. She was a resident of
Shelton for 10 years.
She was born March 17,
1931 to Frida May Conn
and Clarence Elmer Conn.
She married Robert Hen-
nig in August 1993 in Shel-
ton.
She had two previous
marriages, Hugh Guenther
and Oris David Miller, both
deceased.
She worked as an elec-
tronics assembler.
She enjoyed collecting
bears, dolls, arts and crafts
and liked fishing. She also
enjoyed home maintenance
and repair and collecting
winnings when going to the
casino.
She is survived by her sis-
ter Irene Trivitt of Stockton,
Calif.; brother Eddy Conn
of Chicago, Ill.; son Oris
Miller (Kerry) of Redwood
City, Calif. and Charles
Miller of Kennewick; grand-
daughters Kim Peters of
Brownsburg, Ind., Heather
Walz of Fillmore, Ind. And
Claudia Miller of Shelton;
great-grandson Sam Pavey
of Indianapolis, Ind.; great-
granddaughter Tori Smell-
ing of Brownsburg, Ind.;
stepson Sam Hennig of
Mountain Grove, Mo.; Step

She was preceded in

Raymon Charles Hill-
man, 58, died February 3,
2011 at St. Peters Hospital
in Olympia from complica-
tions related to cancer. He
was a resident of Shelton for
10 years.
He was born January 20,
1953 to Alfred C. and Mary
Joe (Solomon) Murphy at St.
Josephs in
Tacoma.

Katrina Margaree Kirk-
Wood, 91, died February 8,
2011 at Shelton Health and
Rehabilitation Center in
Shelton. She was a resident
of Shelton for two and half
years.
She was born January 11,
1920 to George and Susan
(Abercrombie) Pickering
in Kola,
Miss.
She

He was

reader, enjoyed the History
Channel and was good at
baking bread.

died February 1, 2011 at his
home in Union.
He was born June 5, 1925
to Dwight and Lois Pierce.
He met and married
Emma M. Proctor in 1945.
They were married 65 years
and had five sons.
He was a gunner in the
U.S. Navy and fought in
WWII.

He was a mill worker for
Simpson Timber Co. retir-
ing in 1996. He had worked
there for 38 years.

Richard Lee
Wokojance
Richard Wokojance, 81,
died February 5, 2011, in
Shelton, due to complica-
tions of lung cancer.
He was born to Frank
and Billie Mae Wokojance
in Lansing, Ohio, on August
11, 1929.
Until moving to Shelton
in 1942, he and his fam-
ily lived
mainly in
Craig, Col-
orado. He
was fond
of telling
his grand-
children of
his adven-
tures with
Richard Lee his friends

what he
called "the
rim rocks," or trying to catch
wild horses, or having en-
counters with rattlesnakes.
After graduating from
Irene S. Reed High School in
1947, he joined the Marine
Corps in'January 1948, and
was honorably discharged
two years later.
On August 14, 1949, he
married Feryl Shafer and
they shared 62 years to-
gether.
He was employed at Shel-
ton Fiber Board Plant for
two years and then began
working at the ITT Rayoni-
er Research Lab, where he
stayed until his retirement
in 1992.
His family said he en-
joyed the outdoors and took
them on many camping and
hiking trips, teaching them
about the outdoors and na-
ture. Much time was spent
in the Cascades, Olympic
Mountains and one time on
a great adventure in the Ca-
nadian Rockies.
His special joy was his
home and making his acre=
age into a beautiful park
where his family, especially
the grandchildren, enjoyed
visiting and camping. Ev-
eryone remembers his large
garden and how much he
enjoyed growing his own
produce and giving so much
away to friends and neigh-
bors, even throwing the corn
stalks over the fence for the
neighbor's cows who would
see him coming and run
to the fence for his special
handout.
His family said he took
pride in working hard and
was always happy to lend a
hand to anyone who needed
it. He had numerous friends
and will be truly missed by
many, including his beloved
family.
He is survived by his wife,
Feryl; son Rick (Susan) Wo-
kojance and their sons, Kelii
(Persis) Wokojance, Jacob
and Taron; daughter, Terri
Craig and her sons Ivon
and Tobin; daughter, Kar-
en (Dave) Smith and their
children, Amy (Jeremy) Ab-
bott, Amber (Steve) Egan,
Ty Smith; daughter Tracey
Driver (Terry) and children
Alicea (Isaac) Swett, Ryan
Seibold; great granddaugh-
ters Ana Kate and Natalie
Abbott, and Vivienne and
Leala Swett; sister, June

He was preceded in death
by his parents, sisters, Joyce

celebration of his life will be
held 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18,
2011, at South Sound Man-
or, 455 North St. SE, Tum-
water 98501.

He was born March 30,
1959 to Duane Clinton and
Shirley (Kralicek) Ward in
Shelton, Wash.
He married Kathryn Sollock
August 5, 1988, in Shclton.
His first marriage to Karen Fuller ended in divorce.
He worked for Simpson Timber Co. from 1977 to 1989
and the Mason County Road Department from 1989 to
present.
Jerry loved going on hunting trips with his children and
friends. He loved the outdoors, his pack mules and his trips
to the mountains. He was an avid fisherman that enjoyed
his time on the river. He enjoyed trips to the casino with his
wife and mother and will be missed as the best dad ever.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn Ward of Shelton.

of Shelton and Jordan Ward of Shelton; daughter Carly
Mae Ward of Shelton; sister Barbara Bearden of Shclton:
