Leadership Foundation recognizes t00rreq00n Diamond Resource Company
Green Diamond Resource Company was presented with
the annual Outstanding Investor Award by the Washington
Agriculture and Forestry Education Foundation (AgFor-
estry), at their recent Celebrating Our Connections Benefit
Gala held in Tacoma
The award honors an investor who provides unparalleled
support, financially and/or through volunteer time and mar-
keting efforts to the AgForestry Leadership Program and
the Foundation. The recognition is based on the following
criteria:
Long-term commitment to the Foundation;
Recipient goes the extra mile and gives, not just an
annual donation, but looks for other ways to invest and
encourages others to invest through time, energy and
commitment.
Recipient consistently participates in AgForestry Foun-
dation events and activities:
Recipient helps personify the mission of the AgForestry
Foundation and proudly represents our Foundation in
multiple venues and the recipient is an invaluable asset
to the Foundation.
"We appreciate the long-term commitment of Green Dia-
mond Resource Company to develop leaders for the future
of Washington State", stated David Roseleip, president of
the foundation, as he presented the award. "Through Green
Diamond Resource's investment in the Leadership Program,
the agriculture and forest industries and rural communities
greatly benefit."
Green Diamond Resource Company traces its roots back
to 1890 in Mason County. Today, Green Diamond owns
timberland in several counties in Western Washington, as
well as forestlands and manufacturing facilities in Cali-
fornia. Several Green Diamond employees have graduated
from the Agriculture and Forestry Leadership Program and
the company periodically hosts and sponsors the program's
forestry seminar. In addition, Green Diamond generously
con.tributes annually to the scholarship program and sup-
ports the organization's many fundraising activities. Over
the years, company graduates have served in a variety of
leadership roles.

and Forestry Leadership Foundation saw fit to recognize
Green Diamond as its Outstanding Investor for 2010," said

indeed a privilege to be counted among so many dedicated
supporters to this exceptional program," she added.
Several Green Diamond graduates of the Washington Ag-
riculture and Forestry Leadership Program were on hand at
the Gala to receive the award.
The Founda:tion sponsors the Agriculture and Forestry
Leadership Program, which trains leaders for the agricul-
ture, forestry and fishing industries and rural communities.
Since its inception in 1978, the program has graduated more
than 800 leaders who serve the state of Washington. Each
year up to twenty-four people from throughout the state are
awarded fellowships to participate in the two-year leader-
ship development program. More information on the organi-
