Mason County Department of Public Works
will begin the spring application of herbicides
for vegetation control along county roads on or
after March 1, 2016, weather-permitting. For a
detailed list of the roads effected by the herbi-
cide application program, please contact the
Mason County Department of Public Works
at (360) 427-9670, Ext. 450 or visit the county
website: www.co.mason.wa.us. Property own-
ers that are adjacent to the areas to be sprayed,
that do not want the spraying to take place, may
enroll in our "Owner Will Maintain" program by
contacting Public Works. Those property own-
ers who have already enrolled in the program
and designated their property as "No Spray, will
not need to contact the Public Works office --
their property will not be sprayed.

SHELLFISH HARVEST ON PRIVATE TIDE-
LANDS IN HAMMERSLEY INLET PARCEL
TAX 261 (MASON COUNTY TAX ID 32024-20-
80613) BETWEEN MARCH 14, 2016 AND AU-
GUST 26, 2016 The Squaxin Island Tribe here-
by notifies the public, including affected tide-
land owners, of an upcoming Tribal Harvest of
shellfish populations on the following tidelands
in Hammersley Inlet that are not used for com-
mercial shellfish growing: Mason County Tax
Parcel #32024-20-80613. The Tribe will con-
duct the harvests in a manner consistent with
federal court orders in U.S.v. Washington, CV
No. 9213, sub-proceeding 89-3. The harvest
dates will begin March 14, 2016 and conclude
by August 26, 2016. Specific harvest dates and
times have been mailed to the legal tideland
