Club of Mason County will hold their regular
meeting at the Royal Shanghai Restaurant,

St. at noon. Rob Whitlow will give the talk on
Washington State Archaeology.

11 a.m. - 2 p.m., the friends of the Shel-
ton Library will hold a book sale. Proceeds
help fund events and equipment not covered
in the library's regular budget. For more in-

11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Shelton Timberland
Library AARP tax help program volunteers
will offer free assistance in filing your Feder-
al Income Tax returns. Although emphasis is
on e-filing, paper filing is also available. For

Noon, St Edward Alter Society presents
"Life of Eleanor Roosevelt" at 601 West C
Street, Shelton. Tickets are $10. Come and
experience the life of Eleanor Roosevelt. The
quest speaker, Debbie Dimitre is a profes-
sional storyteller who shares the lives of
powerful and influential women throughout
our history. Watch history come alive with
this actress and storyteller as she portrays
former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt a pio-
neering activist for the underprivileged. For

2 p.m., The (Patrick) Steve Dullent Me-
morial at Shelton Christian Church, 105 Ar-
cadia Ave., Shelton.
5 p.m., Mason County Rodeo eighth an-
nual shindig, live/silent auctions at the Civic
Center in Shelton. Lasagna dinner and rodeo
royalty coronation tickets are $5 per person.

2 - 4 p.m., Shelton arts lovers will receive
a double playbill when the Heartsparkle
Players of Olympia perform in a benefit for
Hypatia-in-the-Woods, a non-profit retreat
and resource organization for women, at the
GDP Studio, which will feature their latest
show, "Places." Tickets are available with a
tax-deductible donation of $25 per person or
$40 per couple. A complimentary wine and
cider bar with light refreshments will be pro-
vided. Due to space limitations, ticket sales
are limited to 75. Tickets can be obtained at
Sage Book Store and Very Limited Antiques
on Railroad Ave. in Shelton, at GDP Studio,

6:30 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m., concert
artist, Randy Estelle will be joined by numer-
ous regional worship leaders for an evening
wholly dedicated to praise, worship, interces-
sion and joy. This powerful event is free and
open to all. The event will be held at Shelton
Presbyterian Church.

Noon, AARP Pot Luck will be held at
the United Methodist Church, 1900 King
St. Membership will decide dispersement of

Hobby: Beading for adults and teens. Join lo-
cal beading artisans and learn how to make
handcrafted jewelry. The Friends of the

9 - 11 a.m., The Shelton Timberland Li-
brary presents computer classes: e-mail 101.
In this class you will sign up for a free e-mail
service and then learn how to check your e-
mail, send messages and reply to messages.
You will also learn about sending and down-
loading attachments, working with folders,
saving drafts and using the address book.
The library strongly recommends taking its
computer comfort class first if you are new
to computers. Registration is required. This
program begins before the library is open.
Those registered will be admitted to the li-
brary for the class. For more information,

1 p.m., The Chronic pain and other in-
visible disabilities support groups regular
meeting will be at the conference room in the
Shelton Public Library, corner of Seventh
Street and Alder in downtown Shelton. For

ed by the Shelton mayor to act as the liaison
between the city and Timberland. For more

6:30 p.m., Epsilon Sigma Alpha Beta Zeta

Finney discussing the healthy diet.
7 p.m., The Mason County Democratic
Central Committee will hold its monthly
meeting in the PUD 3 auditorium on Cota
Street. At 6 p.m. members will meet to con-
tinue their discussion on the state and coun-
ty platform similarities and differences. The
public is invited to attend.

be on the second and forth Saturdays and
