Parker
Arlene Joyce Parker
was born in Lake For—
est, Illinois to Henry
Humphrey Parker and
Esther Gertrude (Knox)
Parker on March 13,
1933. She died quietly
at home after an ex-
tended illness on Febru-
ary 16.
The second of four
children, Arlene was
preceded in death by
her parents, and two
younger brothers, Harry
and Robert. She is
survived by her eldest
brother, Gordon Henry
Parker of Shelton, five
pieces and five nephews.
After moving from
Illinois to Arizona and
then California, she
moved here in the mid
eighties. Arlene was
baptized as one of Jeho-,
vah’s Witnesses early in
life and despite a seri—
ous heart defect, which
limited her activities,
her faith kept her hope-
ful and positive. She
was loved by her fam-
ily and many friends
because of her cheerful
determination.
She had many artis-
tic talents, one of which
