Page 10 Bulldogs Surprise One Foe, Bow From Tourney Trail Before Second BELF'AIR  - After one sur- prisiug victory {over ToWs Ev- ergreen leage champions, 36-30), North Mason's Bulldogs lost the trail to the state Class A basket- ball tournament by bowing to Chimacum. 46-26, last week. It was tim third meeting of the season between the Pupa and tim Indians and the third time Chim- scum collected a noop scalp fl'ol the Belfair crew. No Bulklog player scored in double figures in either game. Bill Walbaum hit nine in the victory, Mike Stevenson eight in the loss. The Bulld(tgs won the Tolt tilt late in tim last quarter when Le- R.oy Johnson hit three foul shots and Dennis Shelly a pair to break a 29-29 tie. The Bulldogs had gained a 27-23 edge at the end of ttwee cantos, after a 16-16 half- time deadlock. The game wa played at Fife. Sophomore forward Brian Brie. took the most shots, 131, to Don Clary's 77, Jim Anderson had the best shooting average among the regulars at 36 percent, making 18 of 50 field goal attempts.
