Mystery of Love benefits SOCK
Shelton Spiritual Cinema will
screen the documentary The Mys-
tery of Love this weekend. The
viewing will begin at 2 p.m. on
Sunday, March 11, in the PUD
3 Auditorium, 307 West Cota
Street, Shelton.
Producers of the film traveled
across America to discover the
different ways in which love man-
ifests itself in everyday life. The
film features stories of marriage,
family, friendship, divine love,
altruistic love, brotherly love, ro-
mance and more.
This film proposes an expand-
ed definition of love, a definition
that counterbalances the violence
and competition rampant in lo-
cal culture. Running time is two
hours.
Shelton Spiritual Cinema is
committed to showing inspiring
and thought-provoking films each
month from the newly emerging
genre of films known as "spiritual
cinema." It is not affiliated with
any organized religion or political
group.
No admission will be charged
for The Mystery of Love, but
cash donations are welcome. All
proceeds go to youth programs
through Save Our County's Kids
in Shelton. More information is
available by sending an e-mail
to bob@sock.org or calling Bob
Bottman at 432-3229.
