Friday, the Kelleys visited with Mr. and Mrs. Herb Brehmeyer, Sr., of Deekerville. :Mr. and Mrs. Kelley received word last Saturday from their son, David, that he is in the Phil- ippine Islands aboard the U. S. S. Hancock. The All School play, "Arsenic and Old Lace", will be presented March 26. The lead parts are taken by ,Tudy Trainer, iMarsha Tipton, Emily ),Ieyers, Mike Ernesii, David I(owalczyk, and Steve DeMiero. The play will start at 8 p.m. The student direct- lots are Kathy I,ohman and Tim Wing. The Seniors had Tuberculin Tests given last week. The tests were given free of c.harge to all seniors. Ill three days e'tch St/lll- ent will again be checked to so(, if tim shot had any -fffects. Also to be given soon is the oral polio vaccine. The cost for this vaccine is 50 cents per feeding. The first feeding is March 16 and the second May 11. Both of these are given din'inK school hours. Oral vaccine is being distributed in both Mason and Thm'ston coun- ties and is sponsored by the Thur- ston-Mason County Health Dept Anyone from 3 months to 18 years should have this vaccine. Senior Thn Wing and junior Lalwa Foster have been selected from more than 1,000 llth and .12th grade studenls from the Pa- cific Northwest to represent North Mason al Forest Grove, Ore to perfornl for "Music In May" at l-~acii'ic University of Oregon, May 6, 7 and 8. All in- terested girls should get in contact with Mrs. Raines. Mrs. Terrill, a former teacher at Nm'th Mason, had a baby girl last month. The baby, Laurie Mau- reen, weighed six pounds and sev- en ounces. Mrs. Terrill taught I English and was a Girls Club ad- visor.
