The school district has re-
served the right to redeem any
or all of the outstanding bonds
of this issue at par in inverse
numerical order on any interest
payment date on and after ten
years from date of issue.
The school district, as author-
ized by law, vote of the quali-
fied electors, and resolutibns of
its Board of Directors duly and
regularly adopted, has irrevocab-
ly pledged that it will make
annual levies of taxes without
limitation as to rate or amount
upon all of the property in the
school district subject to taxa-
tion in amounts sufficient to pay
the principal of and interest on
the bonds of this issue as the
same shall become due.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIV-
EN that sealed bids for the pur-
chase of said bonds will be re-
ceived by the Treasurer of Ma-
son County, Washington, and
the directors of the school dis-
trict at the office of said coun-
ty treasurer in the courthouse
in Shelton, Washington, until
11:00 o'clock A.M., Pacific Stan-
dard Time, on the 25th DAY OF
MARCH, 1969, at which time
bids will be publicly opened by
the treasurer and said board of
directors.
Each bid submitted shall pro-
vide for payment of accrued in-
terest to date of delivery and
shall specify either (a) the low-
est rate or rates of interest and
t premium above par at which the
bidder will purchase said bonds,
or (b) the lowest rate or rates
of interest at which the bidder
will purchase said bonds at par.
One or more rates of interest
may be fixed for the bonds
which rate or rates must be in
a multiple of 1/8 or 1/10 of 1%.
No interest rate shall exceed 6%.
The interest rate shall be the
same on all bonds maturing in
any one year, the same for each
year on any bond, and repre-
sented by one coupon for each
Installment. There shall not be
a difference of more than 2%
between the lowest and highest
rates bid.
It is requested that each bid
state the total interest cost over
the life of the bonds, less the pre-
mium, if any, and the net effec-
tive interest rate of such bid.
Such statement shall not be
deemed to be a part of such bid.
All bids shall be sealed and,
except that of the State of Wash-
ington, shall be accompanied by
a deposit of 5% of the amount
of the bonds either in cash or
by cashier's or certified check
made payable to the Mason Coun-
ty Treasurer for the credit of
the school district, which amount
or check will be returned to the
bidder if the bid is not accepted.
If the successful bidder shall
fail or neglect to complete the
purchase of said bonds within
thirty-five days from the accep-
tance of his bid, the amount so
deposited shall be forfeited to
the school district.
The school district reserves the
right to reject any and all bids
received and to waive any Ir-
regularities therein.
Printed bonds will be furn-
ished by the school district.
The opinion of Preston, Thor-
grimson, Horowitz, Starin & El-
lis, bond counsel of Seattle,
Washington, approving the le-
gality of/the issuance of these
bonds, will be furnished the suc-
cessful bidder and will be re-
produced on each of said bonds,
all at the expense of the school
district.
The customary signature iden-
tification and nonlitigation cer-
tificate will be included in the
closing documents.

Notice is hereby given that on
Tuesday, the 25th day of March,
1969, commencing at ten o'clock
in the forenoon of said day, at
the Port Orchard District Head-
quarters, located at Port Or-
chard, County of Kitsap, State
of Washington, by the District
Administrator of said District,
the timber on the following de-
scribed state land will be sold at
public auction to the highest bid-
der, to wit:
Mason County
Application No. 33464
Red Bluff Hemlock Rehabili-
tation located approximately 19
miles by road west of Belfalr.
The sale is composed of all tim-
ber bounded by sale area bound-
ary tags on parts of the follow-
ing: SW NE, S NW, SW
¼ of Section 8, Township 22
North, Range 3 West, W.M., con-
raining 70 acres, more or less,
comprising approximately 50,000
bd. ft. of hemlock, 50,000 bd.
ft. of Douglas fir, 5,000 bd. ft.
of cedar and 5,000 bd. ft.. of pine,
or a total of 110,000 bd. ft.
Minimum acceptable bid: $2,-
292.50
Timber will be sold on a cash
or installment plan basis. Tim-
ber must be removed prior to
December 31, 1969.
On or before March 25, 1969,
at 10:00 a.m., each bidder must
make a minimum deposit of
$229.25 in the form of cash, mon-
ey order or certified check. Said
deposit shall constitute on open-
ing bid at the appraised price.
Upon award of this sale, the
respective deposits shall he re-
turned to the unsuccessful bid-
ders. On the day of sale, the
purchaser must pay the balance
between the hid deposit and the
full bid price plus a $5.00 bill of
sale fee, or may, if the purchaser
so elects at the time of sale, pay
an additional amount, to bring
the total amount of the deposit,
exclusive of fees, to equal 10%
of the full bid price based on
the cruise estimate, provided that
such deposit shall not be less
than $2,000.00. This balance may
be paid hy personal check. On
the day of sale purchaser must
also furnish a cash bond of
$100.00 in the form of cash, mon-
ey order or certified check to
guarantee compliance with all
terms of the bill of sale. All
checks, money orders, etc. are to
be made payable to the Commis-
sioner of Public Lands.

Any sale which has been of-
fered, and for which no bids are
received shall not be reoffered
until it has been readvertised. If
all sales cannot be offered within
the specified time on the adver-
tised date, the sale shall contin-
ue on the following day between
the hours of ten o'clock a.m. and
four o'clock p.m.
Said timber on said land will
be sold for not less than the ap-
praised value, as appraised by
the Commissioner of Public
Lands In the manner provided
by law, a notice of which is now
on file in the office of the Audi-
tor of Mason county, and Dis-
trict Administrator of said dis-
trict.

advised that violations of the Do-
mestic Processing requirement
constitutes breach of contract
and may result in contract can-
cellatton, or in refusal to award
timber sales to the violator, or
debarment or suspenon from
bidding on future timber sales.

person deemed to have a reason-

CALL FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received
until 11:00 A.M., Monday, March
24, 1969 for furnishing Mason
County Highway Department ap-
proximately 12,000 cubic yard
of Crushed Cover Stone (Wash-
ington State Highway Depart-
ment Specification 26-2.02B). The
material is to be stockpiled avail-
able for use by Mason County,
approximately 10,000 cubic yards
in the vicinity of the Mason
Central Shop near Shelton, and
approximately 2,000 cubic yard
in the vicinity immediately north
of Belfalr, Washington.
Specifications, including llst of
material, and proposal forms are
available at the Mason County
Engineer's office at the Court-
house, Shelton, Waahington.
The County Commissioners re-
serve the right to reject any and
all bids and to accept only those
bids deemed most advantageous
to the County.
