BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT 3 OF MASON COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, does hereby invite sealed
proposals for a 912 square foot building addi-
tion to the existing Mason County PUD 3
warehouse, corner of K Street and Olympic
Hwy North, Shelton, Washington as descnbed
and specified In accordance with Bid Docu-
ment No. E5-99.
Proposals for this project must be sealed,
marked Bid Document No. E5-99 and filed with
the Purchasing Agent at the District's office in
Shelton, Washington, by 3:00 p.m., Wednes-
day, Apnl 7, 1999. Bids received after the time
fixed for receiving bids will not be considered.
At time and place named below such bids will
be opened and read, and the Commissioners
will proceed to canvass the bids, and may let to
contract with the lowest responsible bidder of
the specifications.

Bidding Documents for this project have

Bona fide General Contract Bidders may
obtain two sets only and Electrical Subcontrac-
tors may obtain one set only at the office of the
Architect, upon deposit of a check made pay-
able to the Architect in the amount of $50.00 per
set; return of deposit to be in accordance with
the Instructions to Bidders.
Should a bidder wish additional sets or
parts of sets, he/she may obtain them by pay-
ing the cost of reproduction plus handling and
mailing costs, with no refund for the additional
sets or parts thereof.
Bidding documents will also be available
for examination dudng the bidding pedod in the
following organization offices: Olympia Plan
Services, Olympia.
BID SECURITY & BONDS
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certi-
fied check, bank cashier's check or bid bond
executed by a Washington State licensed sure-
ty company, In an amount equal to five percent
(5%) of the Base Bid plus Additive Alternates.
A Performance and Labor & Matedal Payment
Bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the con-
tract price will be required on this project. No
bid will be considered unless accompanied by
such a bond.

The Commissioners of Mason County
Public Utility District No. 3 reserve the un-
qualified dght in their sole and absolute discre-
tion to waive any informalities and to reject any
or all bids and in particular to reject a bid not.

chose the bid which best serves the interest of

Notice is given under SEPA, RCW
43.21 C.075, WAC 197-11-680 of Department
of Natural Resources' action described in (4)

grieved by the Department action may appeal
to Mason County Superior Court within 30
days of March 17, 1999, pursuant to RCW
79.01.5(X).
