According to a news release from Dr. Daniel Stein, Mason County’s health officer, the department was told Monday about the case. Stein said the woman is isolating at home. The department is conducting what it calls contact inter- views. The woman joins a Hoodsport man in his 805, who officials said last week was being quarantined at home. As of Wednesday morning, the state had 2,469 con- firmed cases of COVID-l9 and 123 deaths, according to the state Department of Health. Gov. The board approved accepting up to ' an $8 million loan from the state’s Pub- lic Works Board on Tuesday during the board’s regular meeting at commission chambers in downtown Shelton. ' According to the contract, the loan will pay for two or three sewer lift sta- tions, a gravity sewer and pressure main extending the Belfair Waste Reuse Facil- ity to the Puget Sound Industrial Center at Lake Flora Road in 'Bremerton. ‘Money from the loan will pay for en- gineering, cultural and historical re- sources, environmental- documentation, review, permits, public involvement, easements, bid documents and construc- tion, thegcontract states.
