for Easter
Shelton Presbyterian Church
has planned an Easter egg hunt
for 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 7.
This activity is tee to children
up to age 10 from around the
community. Special prizes will
be awarded. For safety consider-
ations, all children should be ac-
companied by an adult.
To get to the event from U.S.
Highway I01, turn at the gas sta-
tion onto Shelton Springs Road
heading East. Go a quarter mile
and the property will be on the
left-hand side.
The Shelton High School Class of
1987 isplanningits 20-yearreunion
and is hoping to track down the fol-
lowing people so they know where
and when to go for the gathering.

She'll be 104
Mary Brooks of Shelton will
soon celebrate her 104th birthday.
She was born in Oregon on
April 9, 1903 and worked with a
welding torch during World War
II. The mother of four and the
grandmother of many, she lived
in Grays Harbor County for many
years before moving to Shelton in
2004. "She has ridden on a Harley
with her grandchildren every year
since she turned 100," said Adele
DuPont of She]ton Health and Re-
habilitation Center.
Starting at 2 p.m. on April 9 the
center will host a birthday party
in her honor.
