,= They're digging for dinner Members of the Shelton Yacht Club gather fresh oysters from Manke's beach on Hood Canal in preparation for their 50th annual Oyster and Ham Dinner. The dinner will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at the Shelton Yacht Club. Visitors will be served pan-fried oysters or ham with scalloped potatoes, rolls and butter, green beans with bacon and dessert. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children. Toddler Story Time for children ages 18 months to 3 years will be held from 1.0:30 to 10:50 a.m. on Monday, April 2, Book Babies for babies and their caregivers will be from 11.:15 to 11:35 a.m. on the same day and Family Story Time for children age 6 and younger will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3. PageTurners, a book discussion group for adults, will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 5. Participants will be invited to read their favorite poem, whether written by themselves or a favor- ire poet. All library programs are free of charge unless otherwise noted.
