Fitness instructor helps clients sweat at home
Chet Chapman, a fitness instructor at Shelton Athletic
Club, set up a digital camera to record himself working out.
Chapman said he was asked if he [would provide video to help
his clients train at home. “I don’t know how to act, so it was
kind of awkward at first,” he laughed. “We had to pause and
do a few retakes.” m
In the coming weeks, the Journal along with the help V .
i M ‘
of trainers at Shelton Athletic Club, will provide at—home
exercises. If you’d like to follow along online, Chapman
and his associates have posted videos on their Facebook
page. Each workout takes about 35 minutes, Chapman said.
They come in three rounds with four exercises per round.
Exercises can be timed with 30 seconds active and 10
seconds rest, or with 12 repetitions of each activity.
“Timed is the best because you’re not about the count.
You’re just going,” he said.
