Field Thursday afternoon as the hosts pound nonleague Cleveland 16-

single find the gap above is sophomore veteran Mike Osberg. Tracking
the flight of a long fly ball, near, is infielder Kanie Renshi, the Climbers'
exchange student from Japan.
Bats earn Lakes split
Fattened on easy pickin's from
a brief nonleague detour, the boys
of Highclimber baseball earned a
doubleheader split with confer-
ence opponent Lakes here Monday
and improved to 3-3 on the year.
Six errors proved particularly
costly in the opener as Climber
sophomore Jacob Dunnington got
chased from the mound in the
first frame. Young Dunnington re-
sponded with a four-for-four per-
formance at the plate and drove
in a pair of runs, but the damage
was done and the visitors pre-
vailed 11-7.

league senior Tristin Richerson
removed all doubt by pitching a
complete-game gem for his second
win in three decisions. He limited
Lakes to just four hits and struck

Sophomore Alex Okonek backed

Golfs Lake Limerick Ladies
Club kicked off its season official-
ly last week.
The nine-hole division is open
to all, regardless of handicap,
while the 18-holers require a
handicap of 46 or less. The former
tee it up Mondays and Fridays at
9:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 9
a.m. and the latter Wednesdays
at 9 a.m.
Club members may play with
either or both groups as long as
the handicap requirement is met,
adds Gagner. And for those in-
terested there are opportunities
to play in casual tournaments at
other area courses throughout
the season.
"Ladies Club play days include
light but competitive games and a
great opportunity for socializing,"
says the secretary. "New mem-
bers are always welcome. The an-
nual membership dues is $13."
For more information, phone
Gall Gagner at the pro shop, 426-
6290.

Golfs Lake Limerick Ladies
Club kicked off its season official-
ly last week.
The nine-hole division is open
to all, regardless of handicap,
while the 18-holers require a
handicap of 46 or less. The former
tee it up Mondays and Fridays at
9:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 9
a.m. and the latter Wednesdays
at 9 a.m.
Club members may play with
either or both groups as long as
the handicap requirement is met,
adds Gagner. And for those in-
terested there are opportunities
to play in casual tournaments at
other area courses throughout
the season.
"Ladies Club play days include
light but competitive games and a
great opportunity for socializing,"
says the secretary. "New mem-
bers are always welcome. The an-
nual membership dues is $13."
For more information, phone
Gall Gagner at the pro shop, 426-
