April 8, 2020 INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given for the submittal
of sealed bids for the construction of a
booster pump station owned by Treasure
Island Country Club (TICC). Information
regarding the project and bidding proCess
can be found in the Bid Binder titled Trea-
sure lsland Booster Pump Station. The Bid
Binder is available on the Brown & Kysar,
Inc. (BKI) Bid Center to qualified contrac-
tors; to request download access to the
bid binder, contact BKI employee(s) Tom

Island Booster Pump Station project con-
sists of the construction of a concrete block
enclosureand booster pump appurtenanc-
es consisting of (4) booster pumps on a
sequencer for cycling, (3) 119-gallon blad-
der tanks, ductile iron piping, gate valves,
a pressure relief valve, isolation and pro-
tection valves, sample taps, pump call fail-
ure alarms, and a backup power generator.
Washington Department of Health approv—
al for the project has been granted. County
permits required for project construction
shall be obtained by the contractor (e,g.
building permit, electrical permit, etc.). This
project is for construction of essential criti-
cal infrastructure and is therefore exempt
from Governor lnslee’s March 23, 2020
Proclamation 20-05 — “Stay Home -Stay
Healthy”. Construction workers who sup-
port the construction, operation, inspec-
tion, and maintenance of construction sites
and construction projects for all essential
facilities, services and projects are also ex—
empt from the Proclamation. (See Procla-
mation 20-25 Appendix) Bids Shall be sub-
mitted on the Bid Proposal form contained
in the Bid Documents, then addressed and
mailed, or delivered in a sealed envelope
plainly marked “CONFIDENTIAL SEALED
BID: Treasure Island Booster Pump Sta-
tion” along with the name and address
of the bidder and the time and date of the
bid. Due to the proclamation by the gover-
nor, bids may also be emailed. Tight con-
trol of this is needed and bid documents

iner to review the proposed variance and
take public testimony. The Hearings Exam-

April 7, 2020 INVITATION TO BID No-
tice is hereby given for the submittal of
sealed bids for Manzanita to Union Dou-
ble Circuit, construction for Mason County
PUD No. 1 (Owner). Manzanita to Union
Double Circuit consists of the installation
of an 8” watermain and electrical conduit
within the same trench approximately
4,720 feet long. The project is located
near Union, WA, in between E Manzanita
Drive and E Dalby Road that follows an
existing electrical overhead easement
along E Alderbrook Ridge Drive. All ma—
terials, beside nuts, bolts, washers, ad-
hesives, etc., will be purchased by the
PUD for the Contractor to install. The
Contractor will provide all labor, equip-
ment, testing, disinfection, concrete, and
miscellaneous parts to complete the proj—
ect. The PUD will provide pipe, appurte—
nances, conduit, fittings, and restraints
to complete, the project, this is not an
exhaustive list. The P.UD will also provide
crossing permits for conflicting locations
and pull conductor through the installed
conduit. The Contractor must success-
fully complete hydrostatic leakage testing
and disinfection of the watermain after
installation under PUD observation. This
project is for construction of essential criti-
