Relief available to late

Mason County Treasurer Lisa Frazier
has exercised her authority and imple-
mented a program that will forgive interest
and penalties for residents who are unable

The office will forgive interest and penal—
ties to residents in need who complete and

by April 30. The extended due date for those
requesting an extension will be June 1.
The emergency extension application
form is available at www.co.mason.wa.us/

line “Emergency Extension,” or mailed to

and ensure our local government operations
have funding to continue serving our com—

Frazier is encouraging property owners
who are financially able to pay the first half,
or full-year property taxes early to fund
essential services needed now and in the
months to come.

closed to the public. Property tax payments
can be made online, by mail, and at the
office’s dropbox at 411 N. Fifth St. in down-
