Wall said the office is
accepting sign-ups for

Cole stated the budget had

half of the county by himself

of strange administrators in their
classrooms, or to have their
teachers removed from the room
with no warning or preparation
from their teachers. As a result of
these disruptions to the normal
routine, Mt. View School this past
week has reached a state of
anarchy and there is little or no
regard for authority.
"In hopes of reversing this
• recent disintegration, we make an
appeal to the three groups
involved.
"1. To the parents, please
remind your children that they
are to behave themselves at school
and are to obey the teachers and

Agency on aging
slates meetings
Community meetings have
been set this month by the
Lewis, Mason, Thurston Area
Agency on Aging to get public
views on the agency's planning,
priority and funding processes.
Meetings have been scheduled
for 1:30 p.m. April 26 in the
PUD 3 auditorium in Shelton
and for 1:30 p.m. April 27 in
the Belfair Firehall.
Transportation to the
meeting is available for senior

you to do all you can to restore
discipline and respect for
authority.
"3. To the school board and
administration, we hope you will
consider additional administrative
support at Mt. View until the
situation is restored to normal.
"The problems which have
recently surfaced, if not promptly
corrected, will be difficult to
overcome next week, next month
and even next year. We feel
strongly that our children's
education has already suffered
greatly and urge the parents,
teachers and school board to act
to salvage some semblance of
order for benefit of all the
students.
"Let me close, by sharing a
concern which we did not have in
the beginning but which has
grown during the past 11 weeks.
We happen to be a group of six
very perseverant people who
would not be distracted once we
determined the facts and who
sought support from other
parents. It is indeed well that we
shared that trait since we have
been lied to and intimidated. It
has made us wonder what would
have happened to only a few
parents who came before the
board with a problem. Hopefully,
the board will reconfirm the right
of all parents to approach the
board openly and freely and that
the board represents teachers and
parents as well as administrators.
Thankyou."
