Diocesan Day set by the Episcopal churches throughout the Diocese of Olym- pia for the celebration of the an- nual good fellowship gathering, Diocesan Day. On this day the women of the,! Diocese are planning to entertain those of their own congregation and in some cases the women of neighboring parishes and missions. The most important event in this connection will be the Dio- cesan Day party held under the auspices of the 21 churches of the Seattle area at Diocesan House, with the Rt. Rev. Stephen F. Bayne, Jr., Bishop of the Diocese of Olympia as guest speaker. Stork Shower----00- Held For Mrs. Stuart Mrs. Frank Make and. A guest at the meet was Mrs. Elsie Buin- ing. A novel idea was used in an- swering the roll call instead of a customary "present." Each wanton answered with a poem or house hold hint.  An amusing letter was read by Mrs. Ethel Stoy to pep her fund raising team on to victory as the end of the contest will be April 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, Mary E. Sutherland became the bride , of Robert S. Bednarski. Judge Jack Cole performed the ceremony before the fireplaee dec- orated with Japanese quince and spirea backed with greenery. Following the ceremony the bride cut the lovely three tiered wedding cake and refreshments were served the guests. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Davis, Centralia, Mr. md Mrs. J. L.
